Data Security

About

Edge has handled sensitive and confidential data for hundreds of Asia Pacific’s biggest brands (including leading banks and insurers) with the strictest data security protocols.

We have designed and implemented systems that protect our data processes to ensure data can be categorised, labelled, processed and stored securely. This includes implemented measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.

Our team of techies protect all our websites with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 256 Bit encryption, conduct quarterly vulnerability scans and undertake regular routine security assessments. We also provide Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), which allows for a secure data exchange via our own dedicated portal or by using our clients’ choice of SFTP software.

Data Privacy

Edge understands individuals concerns regarding confidentiality and take our obligations in respect of all information we gather seriously. To safeguard that information and comply, Edge has implemented a program to ensure compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principals ("APPs").

You can view our standardised Privacy Policy here.

Data Storage:

All data centres used by Edge are SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliant, and where possible, we store data in the country of origin.

Data in Transit

Edge uses SSL/TLS 1.2.  SSL is the standard security technology in use for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. The SSL link ensures that data passed between the web server and browsers remain private.

Data at Rest

Edge utilises Azure Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). TDE encrypts SQL Server, Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL data files, otherwise known as encrypting data at rest.
