Edge: What does it mean to be a Client Services Manager for Edge?
Client Services is a great role if you’re a people person and enjoy diversity in your role. For me Client Services is about knowing the needs of our clients and representing their brand.
Edge: What does a typical day look like for you?
Each day is quite different which is the fun part of the job. Daily I check client campaigns to see how they’re performing against targets and identify any roadblocks. I like to check-in with clients regularly – phone, email or face-to-face. The rest of the day will usually consist of various meetings to either kick-off projects, WIP’s, client or supplier meetings.
I’m always learning, each campaign is different. As a team we like to share learnings and each of the client services team has key strengths they bring to the table. My great strength is nagging.
Edge: What are you most excited about for where the business is heading?
I think joining the Blackhawk business has been one of the most exciting opportunities. The businesses are complimentary and offer a variety of roles – great prospect for growth and a huge range of solutions we can take to our clients.
Edge: What do you love most about the marketing space?
People, communicating, showcasing. I love meeting people, getting to know them and sharing experiences.

Q1: Favourite place in the world?
Palm Cove – we try and go at least every second year. I wish I was there right now sitting by the pool with my glass of chilled white.
Q2: Best piece of advice you have been given?
Work hard, play hard.
Q3: What is your go-to movie genre?
It’s a toss-up between musical comedies (Victor Victoria and The Bird Cage are two of my favs), but I’m also love drama, especially if I can have a good cry (The blind side, Good Will Hunting). Though with a 12 year old son I watch more Marvel movies than anything else.
Q4: What meal are you ordering off the menu?
Silky tofu with tones of chilli sauce and fresh chillies and salt and pepper calamari.
Q5: What’s a value you strongly believe in?
Empathy and compassion.
